Splash Painting: A Fun, Messy Activity (With or Without Kids)
If there’s a new activity on the island, I’m there.
And if I can drag 13 other people with me? Even better.
So when I heard about Splash Painting, I signed up immediately.
It’s loud, colorful, chaotic — and honestly, a great time.
What is it?
It’s an hour-long paint-throwing workshop.
You wear protective gear, pick your colors (regular or neon glow-in-the-dark), and go wild on a blank canvas.
There’s music, black lights, and zero pressure to be “artistic.”
You throw, spray, smudge, and drip paint however you want — with brushes, hands, or tools I can’t name.
Great with kids. Great without them.
Everyone leaves smiling — and messy.
Cost: 1,500–1,800 THB
Yes, it’s pricey. Yes, it’s worth it. At least once…
You leave the canvas behind and pick it up after a week, once it’s dry.
Tips:
- Wear clothes you don’t mind ruining (even though they give you gear).
- Book ahead — they run on a schedule.
- If you’re bringing kids, pack extra clothes. They will get covered.
