Is There a Good Mani-Pedi Spot in Patong?
Yes.
It’s called The Nail Club — @thenailclub_patong
I don’t usually go to Patong (unless it’s for Chabad or Mikveh Night).
It’s crowded, touristy, and far. But enough people asked, so I went for research.
What I got:
- Gel removal
- Express mani-pedi combo
- Black gel polish (yes, really)
⏱ In and out in 75 minutes
💸 Cost: 1,600 THB + 200 THB tip
Fast, professional, and worth the trip if you’re already in the area.
Other services available:
- Acrylic nails: from 1,500 THB
- Waxing: 350–1,800 THB
- Eyelash extensions: 1,500–1,800 THB
(Depending on the style and service)
Pro tip:
Book early. They open at 11 AM (tourist hours), and slots fill up fast.
Which beach can’t you miss and is very recommended?
Oh, come on. One? I have to pick just one…? Impossible. But for the sake of the question: Nui Beach. #nuibeach Only in season—meaning November to April. And not just because it’s the perfect mix of nature, jungle, ocean, and pure paradise.
But mainly because it takes a little effort to get there. It’s so stunning that your heart will ache when you have to leave. So, let’s go. How to get there? The starting point is just below Karon Viewpoint. Google Maps: Karon View Point
Drive a few meters further down and look for the signs. When you arrive, wait for the off-road vehicle to fill up, then enjoy an 8-minute bumpy ride full of holes and jumps. At the end, you’ll pay 300 baht at the entrance and get a wristband. If you have a 4×4 and know what you’re doing, you can drive yourself. You can also go by motorbike if you’re feeling brave—but at your own risk. On the way down, there’s a café with a stunning view that you can access without taking the off-road vehicles. Worth a stop + a photo. And there you have it—you’ve arrived at one of the most beautiful spots on the island…
I hate using cheesy clichés, but what can I say? This place is literally paradise. Start taking pictures—it’s an Instagram dream. Grab a beer at the Pirate Bar. If you actually came to chill on the beach, get a sunbed for 200 baht or just lay out a towel. The beach has everything you’d expect from a Thai beach: Water activities (jet skis, snorkeling, banana boats), Massage on the beach, Swings, bathtubs, and Instagram-perfect corners, Decent restaurants with okay food
It’s quiet, there’s beach music, gorgeous water, and you’re in the middle of the jungle—you can easily spend hours here.
Final notes: No phone signal. The Wi-Fi is terrible.
DO NOT take photos of the chained monkeys. It’s heartbreaking and only fuels animal abuse. Also, the wild monkeys here are bold—they will snatch food and phones from your hands.
Bring a power bank—you’ll take a million pictures, and your battery will die.
For lunch or dinner, go to Sabai Corner, just one entrance above the beach. @sabai.corner.3
And just like that—you’ve got a full, amazing day planned.
