My husband is obsessed with their scalp massages.
I’m always happy with how I leave.
And it’s a one-minute walk from home – so yes, this is my go-to.
Do you believe in Chinese medicine?:
The truth is yes. As someone who has lived in China for almost a decade, I must say there is something to it. In my first winter, I looked at the custom of hot water with nothing in it with Western condescension and wondered where the famous tea ceremony was. A year later, I had already tried acupuncture, ginger-cola hot drink for colds (served in every bar and it works!!), cupping therapy, Chinese medicine, pressure points on my hand when my back hurt, and of course: hot water with nothing in it. I’ll spare you the New Age nonsense and simply say that anyone who wants Chinese medicine in Phuket: it’s available.
Here are the details: Phoenix Traditional Chinese Medicine Center Located in Kata Beach, acupuncture treatment costs about 1200 baht (120 ILS), Chinese medicine can go up to 5000 baht for a bottle of pills (500 ILS).
Wishing you good health @vered80 @phuketphoenix
That’s it for now — but I’ve got plenty more coming in future posts.
In the meantime: you’ve got options. Go, go, go.
