Ceramics Class for Kids in Phuket Town?

I hate clay. Always have. The texture, the way it dries on your fingers—just no.
But Sitao, a small ceramics studio in Phuket Town, is surprisingly lovely for spending a couple of hours with the kids.

It’s not a formal class—more of a “What do we do with them this Sunday?” solution.
You show up, they sculpt something weird, you smile and pretend it’s a vase.

Cost:~550 THB per child, depending on how ambitious they’re feeling that day.

Timeline: You’ll get the finished pieces back in about a month—great excuse to return for another round.

Open daily from 10:00–19:00. Book in advance if it’s the weekend—space fills quickly and it gets crowded with more than 10 people.

Ages: 4 to 94 (you saw that one coming).

We’ve been going once a month for two and a half years.

Bonus: Don’t feel like sitting with the kids?
There’s a wine bar next door (they serve sake) and a Thai restaurant across the street you can order from.
Or just wander—Phuket Town is full of cute ice cream spots and corners worth discovering.

A good, easy family day.
