Where Do You Work Out in Phuket?
Honestly? I don’t work out much.
A little walking. Some yoga. Occasional spinning or circuit class.
But let me tell you — this island? It works out.
All day. Everywhere.
Why?
Because after a month here, people realize they’ve ignored themselves for years.
And the transformation begins…
- “I deserve this too.”
- “I have soooo much free time now.”
- “It’s not like you’re really working…” (wink)
A Typical Active Day (If You’re That Person):
☀️ Morning walk/run:
- Nai Harn Lake
- The beach
- Kathu Dam Trail
(Just don’t run on the roadside — it’s not made for that.)
☕ Quick coffee break
🧘 Yoga Class (8 AM or later):
- @yogaconnectionsphuket
- @atmanjai
- @theyogashalarawai
- @yogarepublicphuket
- @ona.active.phuket
- @yoga_pilates_phuket (Russian/French only)
🚴 Spinning or Circuit Class (10 stations = hell)
🥊 Muay Thai (10 AM sessions):
- @sinbimuaythai
- @tigermuaythai
- @alisboxinggym
(More on this in a separate post… I promise.)
🌊 Beach Time Activities:
- Windsurfing / e-foil in Rawai
- Surfing in Kata or Nai Harn (seasonal)
- SUP / kayaking in Ya Nui
- Swimming (yes, some people actually do it)
🧘♀️ Best Reformer Pilates on the island:
- @mayapilatesphuket
Bottom Line:
You can work out here from sunrise to sunset.
Every style. Every level. Every hour.
You just have to decide what kind of person you want to be.
