Indoor Play Option: Playtory (Villa Market, Chalong)
Finished prepping for Shabbat. Had two hours to spare.
Loaded up the kids and headed to Playtory — a soft play zone tucked inside Villa Market in Chalong.
Here’s the truth:
It’s not amazing.
But it works.
If your kids are between ages 3 and 7, you’ll get a decent hour out of it.
It’s clean, padded, and safe — nothing wild, but they’ll have fun.
Prices:
- 150 THB per child (1 hour)
- 170 THB on weekends/holidays
- Forgot socks? That’s 30 THB
- Want to go in with them? That’ll be another 50 THB
Extras:
There’s a small arcade area for older kids.
You load a card, tap to play, and buy yourself a few quiet minutes.
Pro move:
If you’ve got help with you (or if you’re a more relaxed parent than me), go downstairs to Villa Market for a quick grocery run.
Or sit at the Starbucks nearby for a very average coffee and a moment of peace.
It’s not fancy. But it gets the job done.
One hour later — back home for Shabbat check-in.
